At Riparian, every product we use and every formula we choose is held to one question: would we put this on our own skin? If the answer isn't an immediate yes, it doesn't belong in our oasis.

Conventional salon products are loaded with ammonia, formaldehyde releasers, synthetic fragrance, and parabens — chemicals that enter your bloodstream through your scalp and skin. Most clients never know what's in the products being applied to them.

We believe you deserve better. That's why we made a commitment from day one: every product at Riparian is certified organic, plant-derived, or rigorously vetted for safety. We read every ingredient label so you don't have to.

Our standards

What we will never use

AmmoniaHarsh fumes, scalp damage, and long-term hair weakening. We use only ammonia-free color systems.

ParabensSynthetic preservatives linked to hormone disruption. Every product we carry is paraben-free.

Synthetic fragrance"Fragrance" on a label can hide hundreds of undisclosed chemicals. We use only naturally-scented formulas.

Formaldehyde releasersFound in many smoothing treatments. We offer only plant-based keratin and bond-repair alternatives.

Sulfates (SLS/SLES)Aggressive surfactants that strip the scalp's natural oils. Our cleansers are sulfate-free and microbiome-friendly.

PhthalatesPlasticizers used in nail polish and fragrance. Our nail care line is 10-free certified.
